My brilliant photographer sister Cheyenne L. Rouse took me out to one of her “secret” photo spots near Apache Junction, Arizona, for a close-up look at the “Flatiron” of the Superstition Mountains.  This is also known as the Lost Dutchman, the name of the adjacent state park and a reference to the legend of the Lost Dutchman’s Mine.  We stayed nearby and watched/photographed the sunset, and it was easy to see how this is the place of magic and legend.
