Overlook of the stunning Piestewa Peak, which was renamed in honor of SPC Lori Piestewa, a Quartermaster soldier killed by enemy fire in Iraq in 2003. A member of the Hopi tribe, she also happened to be the first Native American female servicemember killed in combat. An amazing tribute to Native American servicemembers, all servicewomen, all Quartermasters, and all those who have fallen and who have served. So nice to have a chance to see this up close.
